As the beginning of a new
and exciting year is upon us, I would like to introduce myself and welcome you
back from what I hope was an enjoyable summer. My name is Mrs. Angela Bavetta and I will be your child’s
teacher this year. I look forward
to meeting you in the near future and working with you to provide the best
possible education for your child.
A major part of our
classroom experience will involve small group learning. The capacity to work together in
a group environment is becoming more important in the world in which we
live. As a result, our classroom
will be conducive to not only academic growth, but social and spiritual growth
as well.
In order to best achieve
these goals students will follow all school rules and conduct themselves in a
manner that is conducive to a positive learning environment for all members of
the class.
As in the past your child
will use the school agenda to stay organized and as a communication tool
between school and home. It is
your child’s responsibility to write homework in the agenda and to keep track
of dates on which assigned tasks and tests are due. I strongly urge you to read and sign the agenda every
night, as it will serve to keep you informed regarding the work we are
accomplishing.
